Local and Social History Group

Our meetings take place at the COWSHACC at 14:00 (unless otherwise agreed) on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We usually have a speaker or one of the members of the group will give a presentation. In the summer months we organise trips to local places of interest. We try to cover the history of all mid-Wales and the Borders and welcome any new ideas for talks and trips. The trips usually end up with tea/coffee and cakes.

We are always happy to welcome new members.

Please contact the Group Leader Elisabeth Barnes
if you would like to join the group. Elisabeth can be contacted by email:  Elisabeth Barnes

For reasons of insurance you must be a member of the U3A to join our Local History Group.
