Local and Social History Group

Our meetings take place at the COWSHACC at 14:00 (unless otherwise agreed) on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. We usually have a speaker or one of the members of the group will give a presentation. In the summer months we organise trips to local places of interest. We try to cover the history of all mid-Wales and the Borders and welcome any new ideas for talks and trips. The trips usually end up with tea/coffee and cakes !
We are always happy to welcome new members.

Please contact the Group Leader Elisabeth Barnes
if you would like to join the group.
Elisabeth can be contacted by email:  Elisabeth Barnes

For reasons of insurance you must be a member of the U3A to join our Local History Group.
